As a school we have been supporting an initiative helping to provide clothes for refugee children fleeing Syria. When boats arrive on the Greek islands at night, or children are literally washed ashore or plucked from the sea, it is vital that they are stripped of their wet, freezing clothes and dried and dressed as soon as possible. These clothes packs are literally saving lives.
Our Kids' Committee has put together fourteen clothes packs and there are many spare clothes still to be sorted. Thank you to families for their generous donations. These will make a huge difference to young lives.
