Welcome to Ingleton Primary

Ingleton Primary School was built in 1973 to a semi-open plan design and enjoys plenty of space and lots of natural light indoors. Outdoors we are blessed with extensive, attractive grounds and the school is in the Yorkshire Dales National Park

There is a tradition for providing a high standard of primary education and care for 3 to 11 year olds. We are a community school and work in close partnership with our community and other local schools.

Ingleton Primary is a good school. Its care, guidance and support for pupils and its links with a wide range of partners are outstanding

We work hard to make learning fun and relevant for all our learners and OFSTED have consistently complimented us for our quality provision and creative approaches to teaching and learning.

typical parent comment was, "I feel incredibly fortunate that my children attend such a good school where there is a lovely atmosphere. Pupils' individual learning needs are very much catered for."

"Ingleton Primary is a wonderful school and pupils leave as active learners and confident young citizens, keen and able to contribute to the community"
